AgMagic on the River Open to the Public on March 21 at Docville Farm

Mark your calendars and join us for AgMagic on the River, a free, one-of-a-kind hands-on experience at the Docville Farm, home of the Meraux Foundation (5124 East St. Bernard Highway, Violet, LA). It is open to the public March 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

AgMagic brings Louisiana agriculture to life for children and adults alike. This immersive, interactive experience shows how the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and the products we use every day all begin with the hard work of Louisiana farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners.

Guests will explore featured crops at different stages of growth, learn how livestock and forestry contribute to our economy, and see firsthand how agriculture, the environment, and our communities are deeply connected. It is education you can see, touch, and experience — right here in St. Bernard Parish.

The event will also include the "Plant the Parish" tree giveaway sponsored by Valero, providing free trees to St. Bernard Parish residents.
